The Brigade plan was for 6 Seaforths to go for Spur Point 141, a spur to the North of Point 172, halfway to Santa Maria Infante, from Point 172, and 2 Royal Scots Fusiliers for Point 156, Monte Natale. 2 Northants were to push on to Santa Maria Infante on the following day.
